CompareKrytox GPL 205G0 is a grease lubricant and takes the standard, thicker grade 2 variant and thins it out to transform into the perfect consistency for keyboard enthusiasts. 205G0 is recommended for linear switches but with a very light application, this lube may be used for any tactile switch.
This is typically used to lubricate stabilizers and linear switches in mechanical keyboards, but may be used elsewhere too.
Please note all quantities are in grams. At 0°C, approximately 1.98g is 1ml. 4g (approximately 2ml) is more than adequate to fully lubricate a full-sized mechanical keyboard.
Non-flammable, non-silicone, high-temperature stable (up to 355°F), fluorinated polymer lubricant. Krytox GPL 205g0 was designed by The Chemours Company FC, LLC to provide a non-migrating grade 0 grease viscosity for ease of application.
